Yes. All Administrative Surveys will need to be reviewed and approved prior to the survey implementation. A process has been established by the Survey Point committee for the review and approval process.

Yes, a committee was established with members from the various colleges and the district departments to create guidelines for the use of the Survey Point software.

- Can the Survey Point be used to administer student surveys?
Yes, a team of members from the various colleges and district office have been working on establishing a process to use Survey point for student surveys. The process is expected to go live Fall 2007.
- After the completion of Survey, can the user go back and modify the answers of the survey?
That depends on how the survey was set up. The survey creator can restrict the back button and the number of responses defined per user.
- Is it possible for more than one person to view the results of the survey by logging in under their account even though they did not create the survey?
Yes, a user can be a response viewer or a response administrator without having to be a survey creator, editor or administrator.
- Can you setup a survey to run more than one time a year such as quarterly?
Yes, the survey can be activated and deactivated at any time. This would have to be done manually. The application does not allow for automatic scheduling of surveys.
- Will these surveys be sent strictly through mail.accd.edu email account or can they be sent through an accd.edu account?
If you are using the e-mail invitation, then it works just as a regular e-mail message, it can be sent to any e-mail address.
- Is there a list of guidelines that are available on the survey point website that will inform the user as to what types of questions are applicable when creating a survey?
No. However, you will be able to consult with the staff from the Institutional Research department. They will be able to guide you through the process.
- What is the email address of the person or persons in charge of reviewing your survey and is this posted in the esurvey site?
The person with privileges to view the results of the survey will be the person requesting the survey along with representatives from Institutional Research and Public Relations (except for student surveys).
- Can the survey be purged at the request of the survey creator?
The survey can be activated or deactivated at the will of the survey creator. The responses are stored within the Survey Point database.
- Can we just copy the link for the survey into an email message to distribute the survey?
Yes, you will be able to copy the link if the survey is set to public. Otherwise the users will be prompted to log in.
- Can we place the survey link on a website?
Yes, if the survey is set to public, you will be able to place the link on a website. Otherwise the users will be prompted to log in.
- What does the 'From' address indicate? By default the From address displays Pablo Morales.
Yes, by default the From address is set to Pablo Morales. However, you will be able to edit the address and change it to a name of choice.
