PALS

SoftChalk Lesson Builder

SoftChalk Lesson Builder is intuitive and easy to use. It allows instructors to create lessons, activities and quizzes with a standard professional design. Content can be entered in Lesson Builder and uploaded into a Learning Management System such as Blackboard or WebCT. Students will be able to view the lesson with any standard web browser.



PALS

Microsoft Office 2007

The Latest version of Microsoft Office was released in January 2007. Alamo Community Colleges License with Microsoft allows employees to use Office 2007 application both in the office and home computers. The purpose of this project is to rollout MS Office 2007 at the District Offices. Installation of software upgrade is expected to continue through August 2008.



PALS

PALS

PALS portal replaced the ePortal application January 2006, providing a front end and a single point of contact to many of the enterprise applications and services. PALS in addition to the applications, provides a lot of collaborative tools, such as, groups, chat, email and calendar tools.

Document Managememt System

Document Management System

For several years, ACCD has been using the Digital Document System to digitize, manage and archive paper documents. Under the TITAN project, the Digital Documents system will be upgraded to a newer version allowing the system to be interfaced with the Banner administrative system.

TracDat

The purpose of this application is to assist ACCD users with strategic planning and program assessment. TracDat is a unifying instrument that helps to document goals, objectives and report on outcomes and assessment.

SPM

SPM stands for Strategic Performance Management. SPM is a web based application for designing, building, managing scorecards, dashboards and strategy maps. Using the Extract transform load processes, data metrics can be measured against institutional databases.

CrimeStar

CrimeStar software is a completely integrated, flexible and powerful information management tool for law enforcement and public safety. Crimestar computer aided dispatch system and records management tool is currently in the process of being implemented at ACCD and will support the needs of our ACCD public safety department.

Content Management System

ACCD will soon begin the implementation of the Content Management System. Implementation of the system will greatly simplify the task of managing and publishing web content and lead to a more consistent and professional web presence. Content Management system will be fully integrated with our PALS portal and will be used to manage portal content as well.
