E-mail Services

In an effort to provide a reliable, functional and a unified email service, ACCD IT will undertake an enterprise level email upgrade project. The project will involve upgrade to new hardware, new anti-spam and email application software for ACCD's largest email system. In addition to providing a stable environment, the new email environment will also include several new collaborative functions and features. Upgrading to a new system is necessary to accommodate the future growth at our institution and to manage the increasing number of email messages and spam.

The Email Upgrade project will be implemented in two phases. Phase I will address the infrastructure and the hardware upgrade, while in Phase II, MS Exchange will be configured with additional collaborative functions, such as, sharing of calendar, tasks, public folders and the web based client will also be upgraded to Microsoft Outlook Web Access.
