Keep all filenames lower case
(Example: homepg.htm not HOMEPG.HTM OR HomePG.HTM )
Ensure that your filenames are intuitive to
visitors.
(Example: hist1301.htm rather than
h01fa02.htm )
Keep filenames under 8 characters in
length
HELPFUL HINT: Name your homepage default.htm
and your web address will be easier to
remember: ex. www.accd.edu/sac/childdev will automatically go to: http://www.accd.edu/sac/ecs/default.htm
