Tools to Help On-line Learners Succeed

Home

  • What is an On-line Course?
    • Internet courses are an alternate way for a student to take a course as opposed
to attending classes in a classroom on a college campus.
    • All course materials and interactions will take place by way of a computer
connected to the World Wide Web.
  • What is an On-line Learner?
    • This kind of learner takes courses fully over the Internet not on a college campus.
    • The on-line learner rarely ever meets his/her instructor or fellow students in person.
    • All class interaction is done by way of email and other Internet course software tools.
  • On-line learning is a rather new mode of learning.
    • The on-line student is more in control of their learning experience than in on campus classes.
    • More  responsibility is placed on the on-line student than when taking courses on campus.
