Registering and Logging In 

To open your CourseCompass course, you will need a valid email address, a Student Access Code and a Course ID. The Course ID is castleberry93313. You can find your Student Access Code in a separate card packaged with the textbook that will say CourseCompass on it.  If you bought a used textbook, then you will have to purchase your Student Access Code separately, either by purchasing it from the St. Philip's College Bookstore, or online as you register in CourseCompass.   

NOTE: If you have any technical questions about how to register for my course at the CourseCompass web site, then please call the CourseCompass toll-free technical support number of 1-800-677-6337.  They should be able to resolve your problems in real-time if you are on your computer at the time that you call them.   

To register in CourseCompass and enroll in your course, follow these general steps: 

 1. Go to http://students.pearsoned.com.

 2. At the CourseCompass Home Page:

***** If you are  a New User of CourseCompass, then:

Click the "Register" button under the Student section. 

At the Before You Start Screen, click the "Next" button. 

Then type in my Course ID of "castleberry93313," and then click the "Find Course" button. 

Then either click on the "Access Code" radio button if you have already purchased a CourseCompass Student Access Code, or click on the "Buy Now" radio button to buy the Student Access Code online. 

Then enter your Access Code and complete the registration process, beginning with step #3 below.

------------------------------- OR -------------------------------  

***** If you a Returning User of CourseCompass, and already have a Login Name and Password from another Pearson  Education course, then:

Click the "Log In" button at the top of the CourseCompass Home Page, and then enter your Login Name and Password

At the top of your page that shows your prior course list, click on the "Enroll in Another Course" button. 

Then type in my Course ID of "castleberry93313," and then click the "Find Course" button.   

Complete the registration process, beginning with step #3 below.    

 3. Enter the zip code of "78203" for St. Philip's College and select "Unites States" for the School Country section. 

4. Next, enter the personal information requested. If you already have a Login Name and Password, this information will already be filled in.  Make sure you provide an e-mail address that you check regularly because this is where CourseCompass sends registration information.

 5. Click "St. Philip's College" for the name of your school in the list provided. If the name of your school doesn't appear in the list, click Other and enter its city and state (or country).

 6. If you're new to Pearson Education products, enter the Login Name and Password you want to use for CourseCompass.

 7. Just in case you ever forget your Login Name or Password, select and answer the question you want CourseCompass Customer Support to use to verify your identity.

 8. Review the License Agreement, which displays in a separate window. To confirm your agreement with the terms and conditions in the license, return to the registration page and click the I Agree box.

 9. Review the information in the Summary on the left. If you need to change it, click your browser's Back button. If it's OK, click Finish Registration.

 10. CourseCompass confirms your registration. Print a copy of this page, which includes your summary information, Login Name, and Password.

 11. Click the Log in Now button to go to the CourseCompass Login Page.

 12. Type your Login Name and Password in the appropriate boxes, and then click the Log In button to see your customized My CourseCompass page.

 Congratulations! You've registered in CourseCompass and enrolled in this course. From now on, just go to http://students.pearsoned.com click the Log In button, and enter your Login Name and Password to enter this course.
