Dear Student:
Welcome to the Internet version of Principles of Accounting II. The biggest advantage of enrolling in a accounting Internet course is that you can take the course anytime and from anywhere.
The content, requirements, and grading of the course work are the same as the traditional classroom version of Principles of Accounting. The only difference is the delivery. This course will use the computer instead of the traditional classroom lecture methods to conduct and/or deliver the course work.
You must be prepared to become actively and independently involved in this educational process. Students not prepared to work on their own are advised to think carefully about their commitment to a self-paced learning process such as this.
After you have completed the online orientation, you are ready to register and login for the course. If you need help, please click the following link: CourseCompass Help Page. Once logged into CourseCompass, you will have access to additional study materials and information to guide you through the course.
Throughout the semester, you will have the opportunity to tell me what you think. Your comments and/or suggestions are very important and they will be used to make major course revisions so, please feel free to send as often as you like. At the same time, if you encounter any problems related to the course, please contact me as soon as possible. Any problem, no matter how large or small, I am confident that together we can solve.
I am looking forward to seeing you online.
Sincerely,
Woodie Castleberry
